At the direction of the Director, Advancement, this role provides strategic oversight and operational expertise with regard to ECU’s Alumni and Annual Fund activities. The Manager, Alumni Relations will have responsibility for the implementation of ECU’s Alumni strategy and the provision of income from alumni towards the Annual Fund

The Development Officers (known internally as Advancement Account Managers) will have the opportunity to work closely with leading academics and donors, create strong fundraising strategies and cases for support, and build effective relationships with alumni. This is a great opportunity for an individual with good fundraising experience to work in a rapidly developing team.

The successful applicant must possess Postgraduate qualification in a relevant discipline OR equivalent level of expertise gained from a combination of experience, training or professional accreditation. You must have extensive teaching experience, preferably in a tertiary context and demonstrated evidence of effective teaching practice and assessing academic literacy and numeracy.

The position of Workplace Learning Coordinator is responsible for the effective planning, leading, coordination, administration and support of professional placements for Education students on the South West campus. This includes establishing, developing, nurturing and managing partnerships with Education providers to develop placement opportunities, promoting the Faculty’s students and graduates, and building strong links between Faculty students and the Education community.

The successful applicant must possess a relevant tertiary qualification in social work and a strong commitment to academic professionalism. You must have high level of aptitude for use of computer software with a view to teaching online, academic and/or industry experience and capacity for research output including supervision of honours and higher degree students.

As the appointee you will take a lead role in managing all aspects of the planning and coordination of customised programs for the IM4DC. You will also act as liaison with IM4DC’s partner, international institutions and government departments that send staff to study in IM4DC courses, plus partner institutions in Australia and centres within them.

Under the Senior Technician’s direction. Provide care and maintenance of laboratory and farm animals, including husbandry procedures, cleaning, and hygiene, feeding and watering of animals. Ensuring that all animals used in research and teaching at UWA are housed and cared for to the standards of best practice and in compliance with all legal and statutory requirements.

This position is responsible for the management of the IM4DC funding agreement with the Australian Government and management of all subsidiary contracts and agreements covering the delivery of the IM4DC’s program of work. This includes the development, negotiation and management of contracts with organisations both within and outside of Australia.

As the appointee you will work independently and be responsible for the accounting function, working in close liaison with UWA Financial Services, providing timely information and advice to the IM4DC Management Team and staff in the matters of accounting, budgeting, management reporting and associated activities.
