The Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring the operations of IMAS are conducted in a safe, efficient, and effective manner. The Operations Manager will oversee all field, laboratory, and workshop activities, and ensure that a strong day-to-day OH&S culture is developed and implemented around the existing OH&S guidelines, policies, and procedures.

The successful applicant will have excellent communication skills and the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with staff and collaborators from a wide range of academic and technical backgrounds. For this full time position we require an experienced person with a background in software systems development and database experience.

Successful instructors will be responsible for motivating clients to reach their fitness goals in a safe, effective and enjoyable environment and will require: Certificate III in Fitness Instruction OR Group Exercise Leader Certification, Current Certification in relevant fitness class (i.e. Les Mills, Thump, PunchFit, Zumba Basic), Workplace 2/Senior First Aid Certificate, Experience in Fitness Class instruction, An ability to motivate others.

The Finance and Administration Manager will manage IMAS finances and underlying administrative support activities. This position will have specific responsibilities in: budget formulation; financial management reporting; managing/monitoring income, expenditure, and variances; financial modeling; and financial risk management.

The Executive Officer - Research will provide executive administration, office management and project support to the Associate Dean, Research (ADR) and work closely with other key Faculty research staff including the Graduate Research Coordinator and Research Administrator.

The appointee will be required to teach in the undergraduate program, to supervise Honours and postgraduate students, and to contribute to the School’s research activities through publication and grant income.

The Postdoctoral Research Fellow will undertake research in the field of blood pressure and human cardiovascular physiology, including working closely with internal and external colleagues locally and nationally in this field. The incumbent will assist in the planning and undertaking of research studies including analyse and interpret data to assist in the preparation of scientific publications, reviews and presentation for conferences.

The Director CODES will lead the research activities of the Centre, attract major research funding from industry and relevant granting bodies, enhance the Centre’s international profile and maintain currency and relevance through close relationships with industry.

The appointee will be required to teach in the undergraduate program, to supervise Honours and postgraduate students, and to contribute to the School’s research activities.

The appointee will be expected to contribute to the School’s teaching program and will be required to participate in course design and development, and in ongoing course evaluation and improvement.
