The Professor of Japanese Studies will be expected to make major contributions in the areas of research, academic leadership, administration and professional development, and teaching excellence at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

This position teaches in the areas of Paediatric Dentistry for dental and oral health students. You will primarily teach and supervise postgraduate students in the Doctor of Clinical Dentistry (Paed Dent), however you will also teach in the new graduate entry Doctor of Dental Surgery degree and Bachelor of Oral Health program. The position reports to Head of the Growth and Development Section within the Melbourne Dental School.

The appointee will be expected to make significant contributions to the teaching and research programmes of the Faculty in the discipline of Mathematics and Statistics. The appointee is also expected to coordinate and supervise postgraduate students, and to teach undergraduate units and play a major role in related professional activities.

The appointee will be expected to make a significant contribution to the Faculty’s teaching programmes, especially within the discipline of Accounting, Banking and Finance. The appointee will also be expected to develop a research profile which fits within the strategic direction of the Faculty’s research, including bidding for external research income, publishing in leading journals and supervising higher degree by research (HDR) students where appropriate.

The Chair in Cardiology will provide clinical service, contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching activities and provide leadership in research in an area of cardiovascular medicine. The appointee will be recognised at a national and international level as an authority in their discipline of cardiovascular medicine.

The Associate Professor will provide outstanding academic and research leadership in the area of Clinical Psychology. The appointee will promote the Faculty within the academic and professional communities in Australia and internationally.
