The purpose is to undertake teaching as appropriate across a range of subjects in media and communication under the supervision of the Head of Unit (the School of Social Sciences, Media and Communication) and the convenor of the Bachelor of Communication and Media Studies, and the co-supervision of honours and postgraduate students.

The purpose is to carry out research as part of a high performing team, addressing the role that lipids and other small molecules may play in neurodegenerative diseases including Alzheimer’s disease.

The role of Administrative Assistant is required to contribute to the provision of quality administrative support within the School of Health Sciences. The role is first point of contact for both internal and external clients via phone, email or face to face and will focus on providing administration support to our student systems and processes.

This position plays an important role within the clinical placement program for all dietetics students in undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The main focus of the role is to initiate, develop and maintain support from clinical placement sites across NSW, develop individualised student placement programs as well as provide support to the Clinical Placement Coordinator and students whilst on clinical placement.

The position is to undertake research in History with a focus on Modern Western Europe. To teach across a range of subjects at all levels, including honours and postgraduate supervision, and to develop and coordinate subjects.

The primary responsibility of the position is to ensure high level administrative support for the Faculty of Informatics Offshore (Transnational Education) Programs including sensitive interaction with current (Singapore, Malaysian, Indonesia and China) and potential transnational education partners

We are extending our interactions to work more closely with other research units within SCU, including GeoScience and Environmental Science, which has GIS facilities. During 2012 we consolidated our bioinformatics hardware infrastructure within the new SCU Data Centre.

The National Marine Science Centre (NMSC) is seeking expressions of interest from enthusiastic, reliable individuals who are interested in the marine environment to undertake casual work as Aquarium Guides in the NMSC Solitary Islands Aquarium on weekends and daily through the NSW School holidays.

The Head of School is responsible for the management and leadership of the School in fulfillment of the University’s vision, mission and objectives. The Head of School will lead the academic and administrative performance of the School and its external engagement, with responsibility for establishing and achieving key performance indicators in the context of the plans and priorities of the University.
