As the Management Accountant, you will be responsible for providing expert financial advice, strategic support, analysis and reporting to stakeholders at Melbourne Law School (MLS).

The Department of Mechanical Engineering is seeking a postdoctoral Research Fellow in experimental aerodynamics, to carry out research on passive flow control of turbulent boundary layers. This is an ARC funded project to study the effect of highly ordered surface topologies on the turbulent boundary layer structure.

The successful candidate will work with Faculty colleagues to refine and deliver academic programs, enhancing the interdisciplinary design culture of the Faculty. They will teach at both graduate and undergraduate levels, including into the Bachelor of Environments, and will participate in the supervision of research higher degree students.

You will need to display a high level of professionalism, regularly interacting with the internal and external stakeholders as well as dealing with confidential and sensitive issues and documentation.

The role is responsible for managing all activities associated with Faculty public lectures, playing a key role in co-ordinating the promotion and execution of lectures and dinners. This position serves as the key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, requiring excellent client service skills.

The successful applicant will be responsible for analysis and development of existing fMRI projects, including resting state fMRI. He/she will also lead and develop fMRI research, and will lead and write grant applications around clinical and research use of fMRI.

In this role, you will be encouraged to conduct research into practices that will enhance the sustainable production, quality and appreciation of Australian wines. You will have a strong understanding of agricultural industries and the ability to work closely with the Australian wine industry.
