Responsibilities cover a wide range of marketing and promotions related activities, including the development of advertising campaigns and publications; relationship management of key University partners and agents; coordination of offshore visits for academic staff and campus visits by agents, media representatives and officials; market research; and representation of the University in promotional activities in Australia and overseas.

The position will involve teaching in the History & Theory in Design (HTD) stream and design studios in the undergraduate and postgraduate programs of the School. The appointee will contribute to the School’s research in his or her areas of expertise; and to School and University administration and governance as required.

The appointee will contribute to the school’s curriculum development and will be involved in developing and supporting research activities related to the School’s Internationalisation Program. Tasks associated with global health teaching will be supported by External Liaison administrative team.

The appointee will be expected to participate actively in quality assurance and the development of flexible teaching and learning and assessment.

The position is an academic staff appointment in the Institute for Marine and Antarctic Studies (IMAS) at the University of Tasmania. IMAS aspires to become the leading global institution for temperate marine, Southern Ocean, and Antarctic studies, and offers a dynamic and collaborative work environment.

With Tasmania’s dairy industry in a period of major expansion, TIA is seeking a highly motivated and skilled research fellow to work within its Dairy Centre. The incumbent will be responsible for developing and undertaking research relating to dairy production systems, and will be expected to have particular expertise in one or more of the following areas: soils and plant nutrition; plant and crop agronomy; ruminant nutrition; and farm systems modelling.

This incumbent will be responsible for the delivery of undergraduate units in Microbiology, including delivering lectures, practical classes, field excursions and assessment. The appointee will also contribute to the research activities of the Food Safety Centre by designing, conducting, interpreting and coordinating laboratory based microbial population studies.

The Director will lead the research activities of the Institute, will build capacity through strengthening existing groups and establishing new ones in relevant fields of medical and health research, and will foster the Institute’s reputation and standing in the context of the University, Tasmania, nationally and internationally.

The successful applicant must have the capacity to build and maintain productive working relationship, including the ability to liaise effectively with a wide range of stakeholders and undertake a diverse range of tasks in a complex working environment, managing a number of competing priorities and deadlines, using initiative and sound judgement.

The appointee will have responsibility for delivering components of the Paramedic teaching programs offered by the School of Medicine. The position involves teaching, assessment and administration of the Bachelor of Paramedic Practice degree, primarily at the Hobart campus but also with the possibility of some teaching at the Rozelle (Sydney) campus, as well as into other paramedic related programs of the School.
