The key purpose of the position is to support the development and implementation of international communications for QUT International including online initiatives, advertising, and publications.

The Equity Schools Program Officer (SEF) will assist with the Science and Engineering Faculty (SEF) component of the QUT Widening Participation (WP) Program, which is designed to build aspiration for tertiary studies amongst students from low SES schools.

The appointee will have significant experience as a senior manager, the capacity to contribute at a strategic level to QUT’s development and an understanding of current and emerging higher education issues.

A professor is expected to exercise a special responsibility in providing leadership and in fostering excellence in research, teaching, professional activities and policy development in the academic discipline within the school, the University and the community, both scholarly and general.
