The Development Manager will be responsible for conducting fundraising and assisting with related research to assist in identifying fundraising opportunities for the Faculty and supporting the Dean and University in developing relationships with individuals and organisations in order to generate support for the Faculty.

At the direction of the Director, Advancement, this role provides strategic oversight and operational expertise with regard to ECU’s Alumni and Annual Fund activities. The Manager, Alumni Relations will have responsibility for the implementation of ECU’s Alumni strategy and the provision of income from alumni towards the Annual Fund

The Development Officers (known internally as Advancement Account Managers) will have the opportunity to work closely with leading academics and donors, create strong fundraising strategies and cases for support, and build effective relationships with alumni. This is a great opportunity for an individual with good fundraising experience to work in a rapidly developing team.

The Development Assistant is responsible for providing a range of administrative support and personal assistance activities for the Associate Director (Development) and the Philanthropy Manager within the Alumni and Development Office in relation to fundraising team activities.

This position will facilitates establishment and maintenance of mutually beneficial relationships between the University and its alumni, friends and benefactors to support our core mission of learning, teaching and research.
