The HRO will become a local expert in Themis HR and other HR systems and will act as the first point of contact for payroll queries. The HRO works under the day to day direction and guidance of the HR Consultant to ensure a high level of service is provided in accordance with service level agreements established within Departments and Units within the Faculty.

You will need to display a high level of professionalism, regularly interacting with the internal and external stakeholders as well as dealing with confidential and sensitive issues and documentation.

The position is to provide high quality management information and data on HR matters to meet external and internal reporting requirements, maintain HR managed websites and provide project support to members of the HR Systems and Quality team.

Under the broad direction of the Director, Human Resources, the Human Resources Consultant provides a range of Human Resource (HR) consultancy services and advice to a designated client group comprising academic, administrative, professional and technical areas.

The Human Resources Consultant (Work Health and Safety) will be responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of all health and safety governance, training, reporting and compliance requirements.

The successful applicant will have excellent oral communication, including demonstrated experience and capacity to make presentations and deliver training and workshops to a diverse range and size of audiences and demonstrated well-developed written communication skills.
