The appointee will provide high-level support to senior Finance staff and will play a key role in the University’s financial management and accounting practices and development of strategic financial policies and procedures.

To be successful for this position, you will be CA, CPA or CIA qualified or have a relevant degree with at least 3 years subsequent experience in auditing or accounting.

The appointee will work with academic and administrative staff, freelance communication professionals and corporate marketing staff to ensure marketing events, activities and strategies engage and influence prospective students.

The position provides support to the Faculty Executive with the development and analysis of reports relating to finance, staffing, student data, unit evaluation and course evaluation data for planning and reporting purposes.

The Manager, Business and Infrastructure Group provides support to the Pro Vice Chancellor (Science and Technology) and the Faculty General Manager by developing strategies, policies, reporting mechanisms and measurements which are designed to meet the strategic objectives and targets as set out in the Faculty Operational Plan.

The Finance Officer will provide financial/management accounting services to centre managers serviced by our Team. We are seeking a person who is customer focused, a team player with a strong commitment to continuous improvement. The successful applicant will need to demonstrate analytical skills and the ability to show initiative.

As a key member of the Planning Services Unit, the Senior Analyst will work closely with staff throughout the University to lead the technical aspects of the implementation and development of Business Analytics supporting high level strategic decision making at Flinders University.
