As the appointee you will, under limited direction, provide a high level of assistance to researchers. You will work as part of a team on an NHMRC-funded research project in General Practice on Fragile X carrier screening.

As the appointee you will, under limited direction provide engineering assistance in the areas of planning, design, production, testing and operation leading to the safe airborne deployment of the VK1 Gravity Gradiometer.

The Manager is responsible for the overall operations of University Theatres, who manage the venue hire services of the University’s performing arts theatres, teaching venues and grounds. The role includes support for the University community, commercial venue hire and entrepreneurial activities.

Working closely with the Executive Officer, the Project Officer plans, coordinates and manages fundraising activities that promote and secure philanthropic support from individuals and organisations for University priorities. Importantly, the Project Officer plays a key role in managing relationships to ensure a rewarding and satisfying giving experience for USC donors.

The Gallery program incorporates a variety of media including digital art, painting, drawing, graphic design, illustration and animation and includes works by nationally and internationally recognised artists, regional practitioners and displays by University Art and Design students. The Gallery also presents talks, workshops and public events to coincide with exhibitions.

This position will involve managing progress reporting for the Faculty's existing accreditation(s); gathering and processing of all relevant accreditation information; providing support for accreditation assurance activities related to teaching and learning; and assisting in the implementation of accreditation processes as they relate to teaching and learning in the faculty, including working with academic departments on monitoring assurance of learning outcomes.

As the project is a Telehealth project involving Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders the project manager must be able to work with the local communities of the participating sites and to be respectful of their culture and unique requirements. This position involves regular regional and interstate travel.

The Flow Cytometry Operator reports directly to the Director, Stem Cells Australia. The Flow Cytometry operator is responsible for operating instruments within the Melbourne Brain Centre's Flow Cytometry Facility, which includes both sorters and analysers. The operator will assist in ensuring that the facility is organised, serviced and maintained to the maximal benefit for all the users, both University and external clients.

The position will also analyse business processes and provide advice on process improvements. The position entails interaction and training with staff across the University at a number of levels.
