This position plays an important role within the clinical placement program for all dietetics students in undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The main focus of the role is to initiate, develop and maintain support from clinical placement sites across NSW, develop individualised student placement programs as well as provide support to the Clinical Placement Coordinator and students whilst on clinical placement.

As the appointee you will, under limited direction, provide support to the Associate Director (Accreditation) and the Marketing Manager through the collection, analysis and interpretation of data and production of reports for the School’s ranking, accreditation and marketing activities.

This position has been developed within the framework of the University of Melbourne Student Services Model, which aims to ensure that students receive consistent, seamless and equitable services through Student Centres that promote connectedness to their course.

The appointee will have significant experience as a senior manager, the capacity to contribute at a strategic level to QUT’s development and an understanding of current and emerging higher education issues.

This position is one member of a team of business services staff providing administrative and logistical support to students and staff in award and non-award programs.

The position functions as part of one of the functional units responsible for venues administration, other institution examinations or assessment process and logistics management. The position operates as part of the overall Assessments and Graduations Group.

Provide information and services to students and staff with disability, and support university staff in the delivery of teaching and services that are inclusive of the needs of all students in accordance with the Access and Equity Functional Area Plan with the aim of improving educational and employment outcomes.

The Manager, Communications and Engagement is responsible for developing and implementing major projects and the communication plan of the Equity and Diversity Unit as well as providing high level advice and executive support to the Director, Equity and Diversity Unit to achieve University goals and targets.

The position will develop the program in consultation with members of the Student Equity team, the Deakin University School of Education, Access Express schools, community partners and industry groups in alignment with the conditions of the HEPPP grant.
