The Associate Professor/Professor will be responsible to the Faculty Dean to provide academic leadership and develop research and short courses particularly tailored to meet the needs of industry both nationally and globally.

The Professor will be responsible to the Faculty Dean to provide academic teaching, unit development and coordination, research student supervision, and to conduct research within the field of secondary and primary mathematics teacher education, development and assessment.

The Head of School is responsible for the management and leadership of the School in fulfillment of the University’s vision, mission and objectives. The Head of School will lead the academic and administrative performance of the School and its external engagement, with responsibility for establishing and achieving key performance indicators in the context of the plans and priorities of the University.

The successful applicants will have a vision for aged care service development and lead innovation in education for pre-service health students as well as staff in the facility. The role will provide opportunities to be involved in research into work-based learning.

The project will involve field studies, using instrument moorings, ocean gliders, and ship-based measurements, extending over the region between Ningaloo Reef and the Kimberley coast, in order to quantify the dominant transport and mixing processes.
