The University of Western Australia invites applications under the University Postdoctoral Research Fellowships scheme. Up to three proposals will be selected where the case has been established for a postdoctoral research fellow who will bring special new expertise together with a high level of relevant experience, not otherwise available to the University.

The project will assess regional and local controls on the distribution of gold, and make mine to regional scale prospectivity analyses. The project will involve geological mapping, core logging, petrography, structural and metamorphic analysis, geochronology, geochemistry and geophysics.
